The Hyatt Team
Hyatt Construction have a core team of 24 directly employed staff comprising 4 x Site Managers, 4 x Bricklayers, 3 x Groundworkers, 2 x Carpenters, 2 x Decorators, Stone Mason, Plasterer, 3 x Electrician, Labourer, Trainee Surveyor and an Apprentice Electrician.
We compliment this workforce with a number of sub-contractors who we work very closely with.
We also employ 2 Apprentices who are learning their trade under the supervision and guidance of our more experienced staff. Our Stone Mason, for example, has over fifty years experience in the trade.
Our site managers are all time served Managers and carry full CSCS Site Management Qualifications in addition to Scaffold Inspection, Mobile Towers, Site Waste Management, and First Aid certificates.
We are currently working towards accreditation with Investors in People, and as part of this and our ongoing commitment to staff development, each member of our team has a Training plan.
Most of our employees have already achieved qualifications in First Aid "Appointed Persons", and a Mobile Towers erection and safe working course.
In our offices we employ 5 Staff comprising Director, Contracts Manager, Admin Manager, Accounts and Plant/Building Services Manager. Both Arron Hyatt(MD) and Vince Frost are experienced Project Managers with over 30 years experience between them working on a diverse range of projects up to an £8 million value. Both have come up through the ranks training and qualifying initially as Quantity Surveyors, so can equally provide accurate quotations and cost information in a short timeframe.
Coupled with experience gained in Project and Contracts Management, we know our capabilities are unrivalled in a company of our size and equal to that of some of the very large National contractors.
We know that our Project Management sets us apart from our competition, giving our clients all necessary key information and the peace of mind that their Projects will be managed at the highest level from the outset. Management tools such as Contract Programme software, Information Required Schedules, Contract Progress reports and Critical path schedules are used on the majority of our projects, keeping all key parties abreast of Pertinent information, timescales, lead-ins and activity durations.
From a Financial perspective we operate a very transparent and "open book" policy, providing Clients and their agents with Concise Summaries of Costs and Breakdowns, Cash Flow Forecasts and Valuation/Expenditure Schedules. From the client who just wants us to deliver a project, to a client who wants to be very “hands on the process” we are there to ensure that things run as smoothly as possible and make sure that when the unexpected occurs, as it invariably does in construction, we are armed with answers and solutions rather than problems and barriers.
We treat every client as individuals who may like us to take more time to explain the procedures or have greater needs from the project than others such as being able to live their lives/run their businesses normally during works, or be out of contact for protacted periods and need to trust us with decisions for the good of the project.

Communication is also key to our operations and all sites and staff have mobile phones with larger sites having Landlines, Faxes and PC facilities.
Our Project Managers have internet/email facilities on the move, meaning we are always informed even when away from the office. In the office we have invested in large format printing and scanning equipment so that we can get revised drawings/information out to our sites as quickly as possible.
