Hyatt Construction achieves Investors in People Recognition

In October 2009 we achieved the prestigious Investors in People award, the most successful framework for business improvement through people in the UK. Hyatt Construction joins an exclusive group of UK employers eligible to use and display the sought-after Investors in People logo and plaque, and enjoy its benefits.

ECA Membership

We have now been awarded our full ECA (Electrical Contractors Association) Membership now awarded along with ELECSA Part P for Domestic works.

Retirement!

After working for Hyatt Construction since their very inception, Tony Paddick has finally retired at the ripe old age of 68!

Working with Arron and many of the Hyatt staff for over twelve years in the Western Counties and HN Edwards days, Tony has managed some complex projects including £3.5m of work at Cherwell School, Oxford, and the Woodgreen/Springfield Projects in Witney at £4.5m. Always jovial and bright Tony managed his jobs at a steady pace, always organised, tidy and without hassle!

We wish Tony well in his retirement, and have already called upon him for holiday/sickness cover! Pictured is Tony being presented with a Hip Flask by Arron Hyatt. (Tony is the short one!)

Training

We congratulate Stuart Bonney and Tom Badrick for the completion of their SMSTS Courses, and Allan Peates and Vince Frost who have just completed their refresher courses.

Stuart has just completed the New Co-Op store at Shilton Park, Carterton after doing the Bicester scheme, and Tom has just handed over two houses in Oxford for us, so both are now fully fledged and certificated Site Managers! Well done!

Electrical Department

Our electrical department is running at full capacity with Gavin Clarke at the helm.

Gavin has recently passed his 17th Edition upgrade course, so there will be even more rules and regulations to follow no doubt.
