Electrical Division

After using Electrical Subcontractors for two years it became apparent that one area which held the company back was the Electrical Installations on certain projects.

Hyatt Construction invested considerable capital in the setting up of our own Electrical Division. We have been awarded full ECA (Electrical Contractors Association) membership along with ELECSA part P for domestic works. Our electricians are qualified to the latest 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring regulations BS7671, are Part P Registered Electrical Installers. We also have an apprentice working to become fully qualified as an Electrician.

Having our own Electrical Department has already proved invaluable, with numerous clients commenting upon the professional approach of the Team . We are able to meet clients at an early stage to review their brief, design, specification, and ultimately work within their budget and deliver to their expectations.

We no longer have to wait for electricians to turn up, or spend time chasing people on the phone. We can plan and resource projects from the outset, and react to any variations or unexpected changes with the minimum of disruption.

Since their formation, our Electrical Department have now been involved in installations involving CAT5 data, fibre optics, security, fire alarms, CCTV, and complex lighting and power layouts.

For larger projects we also work closely with a Commercial Electrical Contractor, who has the capacity and labour force to resource projects up to a £500,000 subcontract value.
